TmaxTibero Introduces TDA, an Integrated Database Appliance for Enterprise Workloads
New appliance combines Tibero DB with enterprise-grade server infrastructure to provide a cost-effective alternative for organizations seeking to modernize Oracle Database Appliance environments.
Addressing the Demand for Modern Database Appliances
As organizations continue to modernize mission-critical database infrastructure, many are seeking alternatives to traditional database appliance platforms that offer greater deployment flexibility, lower total cost of ownership (TCO), and simplified operations.
To address these evolving requirements, TmaxTibero today announced the launch of TDA (Tibero Database Appliance), a fully integrated database appliance developed in collaboration with enterprise server specialist eSLIM Korea.
Designed for data-intensive enterprise workloads, TDA combines Tibero DB with pre-validated server infrastructure in a turnkey appliance that reduces deployment complexity while delivering enterprise-grade performance and availability.
Optimized for Performance from Day One
Unlike conventional database deployments that often require extensive infrastructure tuning, TDA is delivered as a fully optimized system with software and hardware engineered to work together.
The appliance is preconfigured with optimized operating system settings, CPU and memory allocation, and dedicated networking to minimize performance bottlenecks and accelerate deployment.
Based on validation conducted over approximately six months using enterprise customer environments, TDA achieved up to 35% higher OLTP throughput while reducing execution time for large-scale analytical workloads by up to 41% compared with conventional deployment architectures.
Simplifying Enterprise Database Operations
TDA is designed for organizations that require predictable database performance without the complexity of integrating and tuning hardware and software independently.
By providing a single, validated platform, the appliance enables faster implementation while simplifying ongoing administration, maintenance, and lifecycle management.
Customers also benefit from a unified support model covering deployment, maintenance, and technical services through a single vendor ecosystem, helping reduce operational complexity and accelerate issue resolution.
The platform is well suited for organizations running enterprise applications such as ERP, MES, and other business-critical systems that require high performance, operational continuity, and long-term infrastructure reliability.
Expanding Enterprise Infrastructure Choice
TmaxTibero and eSLIM Korea will continue to collaborate across product development, go-to-market initiatives, and joint customer engagement to strengthen their presence in the enterprise infrastructure market.
Together, the companies aim to provide organizations with a practical alternative for modernizing database appliance environments while supporting broader enterprise adoption of Korean-developed database and infrastructure technologies.
“TDA represents the integration of enterprise database software and optimized infrastructure into a single platform designed for performance, reliability, and operational efficiency,” said Kyeonghee Park, CEO of TmaxTibero. “Built on Tibero’s high level of Oracle Database compatibility, TDA provides organizations with a practical modernization path that helps simplify operations while reducing infrastructure costs.”
Youngtae Yoon, CEO of eSLIM Korea, added, “By combining our expertise in enterprise server infrastructure with TmaxTibero’s database technology, we are delivering an integrated platform that simplifies deployment while providing customers with the performance and reliability required for modern enterprise workloads.”
To mark the launch of TDA, TmaxTibero is offering introductory pricing through the end of the year, helping organizations accelerate infrastructure modernization despite rising hardware costs across the AI infrastructure market.
